Photo Digitizers require significantly more training, computer skills and computer time than FastTrack Digitizers. Your current templaters probably will not be able to create digitized files using a Photo Digitizer due to the software complexity. A completely different skill set is required to perform all the software manipulations to convert the digital photographs into digitized files. The result to your business is a shift away from lower skilled labor to more expensive, higher skilled labor.

The time savings which results from eliminating templating is more than offset by the increased computer operator time required to prepare CNC programs, and the time and expense of fixing or remaking tops that do not fit quite right.

Photo digitizers are much less accurate than the FastTrack Digitizer. FastTrack Digitizers will easily hold 1/32 accuracy to your templates, no matter how big or small your templates are.
