| Templates are often flimsy and difficult
to manage. The bed of the FastTrack Digitizer is constructed
out of carbon steel in order to allow templates to be held in
place with magnets.
Magnets provide a quick, convenient and accurate means of
holding templates in place during the digitizing process.
There is almost two inches of clearance between the bed of
the digitizer and the moving arm, so thick templates and/or
large magnets can be used. One of the great advantages of
the magnet system is that it allows templates to be placed
at the most comfortable height for digitizing, rather than
requiring that the template rest on the bottom ledge.
